Perennial Autonomy Donates More Than 250 Multipurpose Drones for Humanitarian Relief in Kherson Region

Bumblebee V1 drones deployed to deliver critical food and medical supplies to embattled communities in Oleshky
KHERSON, UKRAINE — October 13, 2026 — Perennial Autonomy today announced the donation of more than 250 Bumblebee V1 drones and supporting equipment to the Kherson Regional Military Administration. The package, valued at over UAH 20 million (US $440,000), is designed to address the dire humanitarian needs in Oleshky, a town under Russian occupation. Residents have reportedly gone without adequate food for months, with some resorting to foraging for grass and weeds as Russian forces restrict humanitarian access. This donation will enable the delivery of food and medicine to residents in Oleshky and other hard-to-reach, temporarily occupied areas of the region.
With major overland routes severely restricted and roads heavily mined, traditional ground transportation remains impassable across much of the region. The Bumblebee drones, capable of carrying payloads of more than 3 kilograms, are being deployed by local authorities to reach residents, delivering life-saving packages directly to isolated and besieged communities.

"On behalf of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, I want to thank Perennial Autonomy for this significant support to the residents and defense of our region," said Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. "We will do everything possible to ensure that our people — even in occupied territory — can receive both medicine and food. Perennial Autonomy's work in this area is a good example of how modern technical solutions can help overcome logistical challenges and support people in the most difficult conditions."

Engineered for autonomous operation under harsh environmental and combat conditions, the Bumblebee platform offers high-speed, precision delivery capability when standard logistics networks fail. This deployment highlights the system's vital and growing role in non-military and humanitarian missions.
The donated drones are unarmed and configured specifically for humanitarian delivery, and will be integrated into ongoing emergency response operations across Kherson Oblast.
