Perennial Autonomy Wins Deep Strike at DDP Gauntlet II

FORT CARSON, CO. –– Perennial Autonomy secured first place in the Deep Strike mission area during the U.S. Department of War’s Drone Dominance Program (DDP) Gauntlet II evaluation at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Competing against a field of eleven defense technology providers in the Deep Strike category, Perennial Autonomy captured the top position with an overall score of 80.1 points – delivering a decisive 9.2-point margin over second place.

Gauntlet II is part of the Department of War’s rapid acquisition push, jointly run by the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). The evaluation traded paper requirements for real-world performance. Challengers advanced to Fort Carson following an initial qualifying phase comprised of forty nine competitors at Camp Grayling, Michigan, and a strict requirement to deliver 120 production-ready drones equipped with lethality payloads under tight timelines.

Tested across rigorous find-fix-finish objectives at various long-range beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) distances, Perennial Autonomy’s platforms were flown directly by military operators in day and night missions. The systems proved their operational reliability under heavily contested conditions, to deliver precise, autonomous engagement when it counted.
